Club History & Milestones

2021 - Foundation

Royal Rangers India Football Club Private Limited was incorporated on 26th March 2021 under the Companies Act, 2013. The company was registered with the Registrar of Companies in Delhi with Corporate Identification Number U92400DL2021PTC382369.

Initial capital investment was secured from private investors passionate about football development in India. The founding board comprised experienced sports administrators, former football players, and business leaders.

2021 - Infrastructure Development

Acquired and developed training facilities in Delhi NCR region. Established partnerships with local schools and colleges for talent identification. Appointed first technical director and coaching staff with UEFA and AFC certifications.

2022 - Academy Launch

Officially launched the Royal Rangers Youth Academy with programs for U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, and U-18 age groups. Conducted first pan-India talent hunt attracting over 2,500 applicants. Signed first professional players for senior team.

2023 - Competitive Debut

Senior team made competitive debut in Delhi League Division 1. Youth teams participated in national youth tournaments. Established women's football development program. Secured first major sponsorship deal with Indian sports brand.

The Royal Rangers Youth Academy is committed to developing the next generation of Indian football talent through a structured, professional, and holistic approach to player development.

Age Group Programs

Our academy operates structured programs for six age groups: U-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16, and U-18. Each program is tailored to the specific developmental needs of players at different stages of their physical, technical, and psychological growth.

The curriculum focuses on fundamental skill development in younger age groups, progressing to advanced tactical understanding and competitive preparedness in older age groups.

Coaching Methodology

Our coaching staff holds AFC and UEFA certifications and follows a player-centric methodology that emphasizes technical proficiency, tactical intelligence, physical conditioning, and mental resilience.

We utilize modern training techniques including video analysis, sports science, and periodization to optimize player development. Regular assessments ensure each player receives individualized attention and development plans.

The coaching philosophy prioritizes long-term development over short-term results, ensuring players develop both as footballers and as individuals.

Education & Development

We believe in developing well-rounded individuals. Our academy partners with educational institutions to ensure players can balance their academic and sporting commitments.

Beyond football training, we provide workshops on nutrition, sports psychology, media training, and career planning. Senior academy players receive guidance on transitioning to professional football or pursuing alternative career paths.

The academy maintains a 100% graduation rate for players who complete the full program, with many receiving scholarships to universities in India and abroad.

Admission Process

Admission to the Royal Rangers Youth Academy is through a rigorous selection process conducted twice annually. The process includes:

Royal Rangers India Football Club has entered into a strategic partnership with Adidas India, making the global sports brand the official kit supplier and technical partner for the club. The three-year deal will see Adidas provide performance apparel, footwear, and equipment for all teams across the club.

Academy Player Selected for India U-16 National Team Camp

September 28, 2023

Royal Rangers Youth Academy product, 15-year-old midfielder Aarav Sharma, has been selected for the Indian U-16 national team training camp in Goa. Sharma joined the academy in 2021 and has progressed through the age groups, captaining the U-15 team last season.

His selection marks the third academy player to receive national team recognition since the club's inception. Technical Director Miguel Rodriguez commented: "Aarav's selection is a testament to the quality of our youth development program. He embodies the technical and tactical qualities we aim to develop in all our players."

The national team camp will prepare players for the upcoming AFC U-16 Championship qualifiers scheduled for early 2024. Sharma will join 35 other promising young players from across India in the month-long camp.
